D.J Coffman creates an art challenge every Sunday... This last Sunday he asked for versions of Santa Claus as an elf. I've never been able to get time to draw one before, but fit this one in this last week.

Fan art for the Russ Myer film "Vixen." Erica Gavin stars in this surreal sexploitation film from 1968, that tackles Communism, racism, and the sexual revolution of the time. All the while featuring a nympomaniac hillbilly running around in a sexy yellow bikini. I recently heard "The Video Archive" podcaster Gala Avery rave about te film on a recentt episode of " Pure Cinema" podcast.( She was a guest.), and had to check it out for myself.

I recently watched the old horror b-movie 'Manster' on Youtube. This film is pretty well bonkers by any standard, and a ton of silly fun for a Saturday afternoon watch. I highly sugest it to anyone looking for something mindless to watch.

There was a nude cover varient selling for an extra $5 at the comic shop, when I picked up this blank cover issue. I figured that I could just draw my own for way cheaper.. LOL.

I watched “Blood Freak” this last Thanksgiving, and I’m still kinda recovering from it. A wild anti drug/Christian b-movie from the 70's, that's just completly off the rails. You can find a copy to watch on Youtube, but be prepared!!!!

Everytime I start a new sketchbook, I try and do a killer double page spread on the first and last page. These are my most recent pages filled with monsters, graffiti, cats, and butts... Some of my favorite things to draw.

I watched for the 1st time this weekend the “Thankskilling.” franchise. It’s a modern masterpiece of contemporary theater… I hope during the last days of November, you can take some time to watch this wonderful film.

I have only a few rules in life.. Never day drink bourbon with an empty stomach at a Lexington Comic con, never start a fight with a dude that has cauliflower ears, and never ever turn down the chance to work with Cory Corcoran. The Texas gentleman creates some of the most inventive and exciteing zines/ comix out there, and I'm always excited when I'm asked to contribute. THis illustration is for the upcoming issue of Skree. I've been prepping to write a new movie script for a project called " Six Dead Hookers on Ice." It's a sleazy throw-back to 70's slashers. But hopefully amongst the gore and grime, it delivers an actual story with a lot to say. To help get the ball rolling I've designed one of the sick twisted villians in the film.

Paul Naschy The Werewolf Versus Vampire Woman.

I recently watched the new Vinegar Syndrome Blu-ray of the Paul Naschy classic "The Werewolf Versus Vampire Women." This sexy gothic classic was just a blast to view. The story was fast paced, and never let me get bored. In fact it just makes me want to try and track down more of his films... Luckily there's a ton of them.. lol.

I finished the She-Hulk show awhile ago... It was fine, I didn't get all of the hate. But fanboys are scared of sexy and SMART heroine. I truly do believe we can celebrate both in the same work of art.

The title alien from “ I married a Monster from Outer Space.” I wound up watching this last night, and was pleasantly surprised on how good I thought it was.

A little fanart of Nosferatu’s Count Orlok, inspired by last night’s viewing on Joe Bob Briggs . I never got to actually see this flick till then, and it’s really a fascinating take on the Dracula mythology. I’d definitely suggest to at least give this silent movie a try.

I'm not dead.

No, I’m not dead. In fact I’m just the opposite… lol. Life, work, and art-making have been nothing but more busier then ever. This a year hiatus from updating my blog. I’m gonna try harder to update on a more regular basis. I actually have some really fun ideas on how to utilize this darn thing far better. Hopefully it comes through. Write to
