A painting based off my "crush".

Tuesday, July 27, 2010

I painted this for my friend/ great artist Mike Maydak. We went to San Diego, last weekend together. While there, we got to meet the girl this painting is based on. Her name is Jayden James. Lets just say, she works in the "film industry."

Rhinos are cool.. That's all I have to say about that.

Just some new stickers, I drew today. No real reason behind them. Just wanted to try, and draw something pretty.

New paintings, with old drawings. Life has been good lately. Lots going on. Enjoying good music, great friends, and always interesting times. Creating a lot lately, helps keep me happy. Getting ready to take a well deserved vacation. But I'm already looking forward to getting back home. I have a new fight team, to teach my Ju-jitsu to. Some new art projects, that need my attention. Also, someone new to have a crush on. I'll post some more after I get back, peace.

My version of Scott Pilgrim, and Ramona Flowers. Other then Spider-Man, Scott Pilgrim is my favorite comic character. If you haven't read this action, comedy, love story. I highly suggest searching down a copy. That, or just punch your face till you start to pass out. Honestly, it's that awesome! This Wednesday, the final volume comes out. Then next month, the movie...can't wait!!

I'm currently finishing up creating some promo art for Dr. Sketchy (Cincinnati). Drawing pretty girls, who would have guessed??
These two, are die cut stickers I made. The first is a gift for a girl, I'm crushing on. She's crazy, but beautiful. The second, will most likely find it's way stuck on some random wall, sketchbook, or San Diego stop sign. Did I mention, I'm rolling out to San Diego!! Finally, I'm going to the West Coast!!

What happens when you are mildly obsessive? Start to spend way to much of your free time in a coffee shop, drinking iced mocha's. Then stack a bunch of postal stickers, and markers in front of yourself. Well about three weeks of that, and you might produce this.

Two new paintings. Lately, I've been going more towards this route. Guess we'll see where it takes me.
