Lately all I have wanted to do is put my head through a wall.

I loosely based this off a flyer illustration by the kick ass illustrator John G (http://ninepanelgrid.blogspot.com/ ) He's awesome.

I've been in a rough "place" lately. Luckily I found out a long time ago that I can use my drawings to sorta help. This is whats been coming out the last few weeks.

Just some random drawing to pass the time.

Just some sketchbook drawings from a recent trip to our wonderful local Art Museum.

I got the chance to attend another Dr. Sketchy event a few weeks back. It was cowgirl night. It was a pretty fun time, just me and my friend /fellow artist Doug meyers rockin some life drawing!!

These are the new MMA murals I did for the dojo I train and teach at. My good friend and instructor Michael Peterson painted the logo. Then I went in, and painted the figures. If interested in checking out any info about the school, or just see how funny I look in a Gi go http://www.florencekarate.com/

I sketched these two drawings at this years SPACE con, last weekend. The con was alright, but I had a lot on my mind at the time. I think these drawings show that.
I forgot to show this last time. It's the drawing that won me a free drink at the last Dr. Sketchy event. It was one of the models as a Easter rabbit. Little did they know I always had a little thing about sexxxy rabbits......That's a joke people, a bad one, but a joke still.
This last weekend I learned some sad news. My good friend Bill Wilkisons lovely wife, Cathy died from cancer. I only got to enjoy Cathys company a few short times, but she was the type of person who left a lasting memory through those times. I've never been one for organized religion. But I do believe that there is more to our existence, then just this life. What ever that is, I'm sure Cathy has made it brighter.

Just a drawing of Spiderman I did for one of my students at Karate.

This last Thursday I got to go to another Dr. Sketchy event. It was two models, both wearing odd wing things. It looked great, and was pretty cool to draw. I decided to for go using any pencil at all. Just me some paper, white paint marker, and an ink pen.

I spent this last Saturday night drawing at the local Dr. Sketchy's drawing event. It was a blast!! Not only did I get to have some fun with my friends Doug, Cathy, and Cree. I got to do it drawing ! I even won a free drink in a five minute sketch contest. I traded my free beer for a soda with Cathy,LOL! If you live in the local area, I highly suggest coming out to one of their events. If you don't live in the local area, I suggest checking out your local Dr. Sketchy events. It's not your normal boring figure drawing. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=314773896

Kung Fu Panda
Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and Woodstock

Popeye

I've been battling the dreaded drawing block lately. I blame the cold sucky winter. I'm a summer guy. I look forward to warm days sitting on someones porch, jamming out comic pages. I figured since I couldn't come up with anything to draw. I would then just play around with a few characters, I would never normally draw. Honestly it was kinda fun.

The dumbest thing I drew this month.

Harley Quinn
(card drawing.)
This is just fan art from the great indie comic Gorillas.

Just a fun pin-up of Catwoman.

I used to braek dance a little as a kid. But I never could figure out how to do a headspin, without breaking every bone in your body. It is cool to see people do it though.

This is another birthday gift for my frien Kyle. there has been way to many birthdays lately.

Well this is my big slam of recent art. I'm gonna try to update this site about twice a month. That way you get a huge sample of stuff, and I don't have to spend all my time uploading pictures.
