HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This last Thursday was my 29th birthday. So the day before I wanted to draw my last drawing as a 28 year old. So I did a twenty minute self portrait as a zombie. How cute! This was done for a contest on the horror comic writer Steve Niles website

Wow, two post in one night! This is just some samples I've finished for sending to the big guys. Hopefully I might get to hear something back.

Here is a few new illustrations from a new book in process. Its a story involving one of my regular characters Unk. The rest is top secret, until hopefully early November when its finished.

Hey, hows everyone doing? Sorry that I haven't been posting much lately. I've just been mega-busy. In August I'll be rocking out Chicago con. Hustling Jaicore 2006. This 40 something page book will have 3 stories in it, "Hey Jude" with a really funny dialouge written by G.C Moreland, "The Romantic", and reprinting "Nicknamed, Napalm". Along with all that, there will be a ton of art. This I drew on the car ride to New York about 2 weeks ago. I inked it while hanging out in Long Island.




This is my first attempt of customing a Munny. His names Johnny Yakuza, hes the coolest, hippest gangsta ever. Hes now getting ready to be at the Summer of Munny gallery show. To get info about the show, please go here.

Alright, I'm in a local pizza restraunt last night with a few friends. Then two of them go into this insane story, that honestly never needs to be repeated again. But in the middle of their rant, they gave me the idea to doodle this thing. So here you go guys, here's your Cici Chulu.
By the way the little creatures biting it, are its kids. Its how they hold on when it travels. Bizarro is, and always will be my favorite Superman charactor. He's like Frankenstein with a whole lot of super powers. I tried to convey a more horror like element to this illustration. Honestly, if all of the Superman villians were real this guy would be the truly scary one.

Drawing girls and tattoos, are two of my favorite things. I've had this penciled in my sketchbook for some time. Just finally decided to ink the thing.

This is a new painting/illustration I did for my sketchbook" Jaicore". I'm planning to use it for the cover. Who dosn't love Luche Libre vs. giant Squid.
The American Corpseman was a character I came across in J. Kevin Carriers Fantasy Theater. http://members.aol.com/fantasytheater/ I picked up a issue at SPACE, and I gotta say I really dug it. Its a lot like old Jack Kirby Marvel stuff. Fun characters and stories.
Pinhead, one of my favorite current horror villians. Still no one beats Frankenstein!!!!!!

I love to draw cool pinups. Especially if they have an afro.

First is the cover for the new mini comic I finished for Space. Its a poem book about 26 monster children, and a illustration of each of them to go along with the poem. The strange pencil drawing next to it, is what happens when a bunch of people are at a comic con with one peice of paper, some pencils, and a whole lot of time on their hands.
